Video by D4 Music Marketing via YouTube

We promoted the album for an entire year by making short form videos that didn’t cost much. There was only one “official” music video, and the rest were performance based videos we shot with my iPhone 16 Pro in different locations. We did videos for almost every song on the album with multiple videos going viral.
You don’t just make one post to announce your new album is out and move on. Albums usually cost a lot of money to make so you wanna make sure you get the most out of every song. You do this by investing just as much time and money into promoting it. The beauty of social media is that you can do just that with minimal cost, but yet still be highly effective.
Now our success wasn’t only because of the videos and how we marketed it. The most important part was that the music was “good.” That’s the key. Cool visuals and attention grabbing hooks are great, but if the music doesn’t resonate with people, you’re not getting far in your career no matter how good your videos are.
