Musicians’ Union General Secretary Naomi Pohl spoke about protecting the UK’s music future at Labour Party Conference 2026!
She talked about the challenge to opportunity posed by generative artificial intelligence (gen AI), low/no pay from music streaming, and the economics of touring in the UK and abroad
Naomi also talked about the role of the BBC in the UK’s music future as a training ground, a route to building audiences and access to live opportunities for young artists
