“Vinyl Is the Biggest Income I Get From Music” — PRS-Funded Artist False Idah | find your frequency
Vinyl is the biggest income False Idah makes from music right now. Jay has moved from a Northampton rock band to a label deal, then Amaroun, and now False Idah, and the fans she built as Amaroun followed her over. She breaks down the TikTok lives that built that loyalty, the mailing list that fills her gigs and why she put around £2k of her own money into vinyl to fund her next album. She also talks about day jobs, PRS Power Up and why she’d rather build a team than chase a million streams.
The episode opens with Jay performing “Did You Know Then?” live as False Idah.
